DIGITAL AVATAR AS A TOOL FOR BUILDING A PERSONALIZED EDUCATIONAL SPACE OF A DIGITAL UNIVERSITY

Annotation

The article examines the concept of a digital avatar as an inno-vative tool for personalizing the educational space of a digital university. In the context of the rapid digitalization of higher education, the need to create adaptive, dynamic, and individualized educational models that can effectively respond to changes in knowledge, competencies, and educational needs of education seekers is becoming increasingly relevant. A digital avatar, as an integrated digital model of a personality, represents a new approach to building educational trajectories based on data that reflects not only academic achievements but also cognitive characteristics, behavioral patterns, motivational attitudes, and emotional states of the user. The article substantiates the architecture of the digital avatar, which consists of three interconnected blocks: content creation (at the level of institu-tions, groups, and individual authors), service maintenance and management (analytical modules, knowledge repositories, taxonomy generators), and a block responsible for identifying needs and implementing educational needs.The digital avatar is seen as a key component of a symbiotic autonomous education system, in which knowledge and skills are distributed among different subsystems, and the system itself is characterized by emergent properties that are not inherent in its individual elements. The article shows that the introduction of digital avatars can provide a holistic and continuous update of the education seeker’s educational profile based on the analysis of new data, identification of knowledge gaps, and consideration of individual cognitive strategies and psycho-physiological characteristics. Particular attention is paid to the phenomenon of the “half-life of knowledge” and the need to develop models that ensure the actual-ization of knowledge throughout life. The work also focuses on the role of digital avatars in building personalized educational trajectories with the participation of intelligent systems, machine learning, virtual and augmented reality. The potential of digital avatars as a means of integrating data from various digital sources (social networks, e-learning plat-forms, electronic services, etc.) is analyzed in order to form a holistic and reliable educational image of a personality. It is determined that the creation of high-precision, multi-scale models of digital avatars requires not only technological support but also ethical regulation, in particular with regard to confidentiality, personal data storage, and users' rights to digital identity. Thus, the digital avatar appears not only as a technological so-lution for the modernization of higher education but also as the basis of a new paradigm of the digital university, which focuses on the education seeker’s per-sonality, development, autonomy, and educational mobility in a complex digital environment.
